It was another rainy day today but that did not stop me from getting a little excited as I look forward to the pre-opening event of a new Italian gelato place to go to in Davao City. It’s a good thing I remembered to bring our big umbrella after I looked into those big patio umbrellas at Patioshoppers.com last night. It was raining harder when I fetched the little guy at school after the event than when we left the house going to the school.

It is hard to get a ride home. Yet the thought of what we would be having for dinner for me and the little guy since the hubby is out of town this weekend just kept me going despite the rainy day. Yes sometimes food at home can still serve as a motivation to go through what we wish we would not want to go through on a rainy day. *wink*
