Hubby treated us to another food trip at Antonio’s Bar & Grill at SM Davao last weekend and to have something different aside from our usual and fave hot and spicy beef soup that we usually order when we eat there, I ordered this Antonio’s kare-kare, or the Filipino oxtail stew. It has a variety of vegetables like string beans and eggplant, then that stewed oxtail, and beef plus the peanut sauce which is my fave and the main reason why I love and ordered this dish actually anywhere! I initially consumed all the peanut sauce and that alone I was able to finish my rice serving.

I won’t mind having to break my diet or even having to take diet supplements after with diet pills side effects. What I was thinking then was just to eat to my heart’s delight! The family rice platter serving was not enough actually but we stopped ourselves from ordering extra rice. I wish though I can just order the peanut sauce next time which would probably be cheaper but I doubt they would have that. But one thing am sure though is that I would ask my friend to teach me how to make the peanut sauce of this dish!
