I was able to buy fresh durian after hearing mass tonight. There is an abundant supply of it anywhere in the city these days and they are just so tempting to buy and eat. While eating it though wanting more and more I am reminded that I have to control eating this high in carbohydrates fruit if I want to live longer according to some people and friends. I heard a lot of people before who had been rushed to the hospital after eating this delicious fruit.We can still enjoy eating this fruit if we know our limits ~ health-wise that is.
I may be able to eat this to my heart’s delight unless I am assured of having a social security disability insurance just like the father-in-law of my friend in the US who I was chatting with yesterday in case something happens to me that would prevent me from engaging in any substantial gainful activity anymore. Her FIL who loves to eat too much of the food that should be eaten in moderation but is now unable to work after he became disabled and is claiming SSDI. Now would I want to be like that soon. No I definitely want to eat more and enjoy more food trips. So while we all enjoy the festivities that starts tomorrow, we should control on food that we know can also be not good for us when we eat much of it.
