My sister who is celebrating her birthday gave us this pasalubong from her recent trip in Cebu. This is some sort of her birthday treat to us. We actually already celebrated her birthday along with my dad’s and another sister when we had a family gathering earlier this month.IMG_7473                              Didang’s Delicious Masareal from Cebu

Didang’s Delicious Masareal came in two packaging. The one wrapped in white paper and the other one in a white paper wrapped in a transparent thin plastic. IMG_7474

We consumed the one above first and it was good.

But the other one on top tasted better in my opinion. The masareal lasts for only one week. We got ours a day before it expires. No problem consuming it. The problem lies when we wanted more and there was none left of it already. *wink*

Didang’s Delicious Masareal is made of peanut, sugar and milk. It started in 1812 by Juliana “Didang” Suico. It is said to be the oldest and most known maker of masareal. It’s address is at Dona Rosario Village, Mandaue City, Cebu. Telephone numbers (032) 345-1168 / (032) 420-5054.
