The first time I tried Krispy Kreme, I honestly fell in love with it. Being from Davao who loves food and sweets, it was an experience I still remember to this day. If I remember it right, the first Krispy Kreme store my boys and I went to was in their MOA branch at the ground floor along Seaside Drivea few years back. I bought as many donuts as I could handcarry before we fly back home to Davao a few hours after that. Well in a few days time, we need not go to Manila or Cebu to buy freshly made Krispy Kreme doughnuts, we will have it now in Davao City as they open two stores on October 20, 2012… one in Abreeza Mall and at SM Davao Annex which will have a drive-through, a first for them in VisMin.

They also offer free WIFI as mentioned by Mr. Mark E. Gamboa, their Marketing Manager. In Davao, bloggers and social media addict that is, people honestly appreciate an establishment that offers free WIFI that has a great signal and I honestly mean great and strong signal. There are many establishments offering that for free here. You know for those who wants to immediately share photos of food or photos of friends meeting together to hangout, some of us like to instantly be able to share those photos instantly through Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and other social media networks.

We got to try their Original Glazed Doughnuts half a dozen each. We ate it for our after dinner snacks and the little boy instantly liked it after he tasted it. He even asked for a second one and before I knew it only one was left. *wink* Well we may just have to wait for a few days more and get a dozen of fresh, hot original glazed doughnuts for the boys. See you on the 20th!

By the way, thanks to Chef Vincent and Donna of Tiny Kitchen at Torres Street for the delicious and wonderful dinner they prepared for us during the Krispy Kreme pre-launch event!
