Tata Benito’s a whole LATTE love coffee shop is one place you should try and worth your Davao Food Trip! We were curious of this coffee shop located within the World Palace compound along Acacia Street, Juna Subdivision, Matina, Davao City. Our company had our Christmas party at World Palace and that was when I first heard about the coffee shop. My sister and her officemates also went there last December and she mentioned the place a whole LATTE love.

So one day, that is almost a month ago when hubby received his first ever earnings from Google Adsense, he treated me to an early dinner at Tata Benito’s a whole LATTE love after I left the office. It was a Monday so there were not much people around and it was early evening when we arrived there.

Gladys Lalaine “Gel” Marcial, a young entrepreneur, opened Tata Benito’s (named after her great grandfather) last November 13, 2007. She has her uncle as her partner in this business. She told us that she used to have her own small snack house inside her boutique - Clothes Bar located at Juna Subdivision, for several months. Tata Benito’s offers a menu of pasta and sandwiches.

Now here is my favorite Carbonara which is really delicious Gel! It was really creamy and delicious that hubby almost was not able to taste it. Do come to their coffee shop and get a whole LATTE love from Tata Benito’s. Try out their carbonara which I really like!

Also try out their Club House Sandwich which is made of soft bread, their own dressing sandwiched between layers of ham, chicken, bacon and cheese plus a side dish of delicious imported chips.

They serve regular hot coffee drinks, flavored cappuccino, hot chocolate, cold/iced coffee drinks and blended coffee. They also serve sugar-free drinks, smoothies, hot and iced tea, and Italian soda. Well one thing good about Tata Benito’s is that they also have drinks especially for kids which they call non-coffee Steamers and I am sure the kids will love these that come in Almond Rocca, Raspberry, Strawberry, Hazelnut, Irish Cream and Vanilla flavors. Well for us who are only kids at heart, here is what we had and they are oh so yummy! Though I favor sweet drinks, I have to ask for sugar for the Cioccolata but other than me if my sisters were there they would have gladly drank it as it is being hot choco drink lovers. The Cookies N Cream Caffioco is really heavenly!

Tata Benito’s cozy dining area has antique-varnished tables and chairs. On the wall hangs a collection of old bills and treasury checks. As well as this lamp which did not escape our attention and other old stuff which probably belongs to Tata Benito.

Tata Benito’s a whole LATTE love is open from Monday to Saturday @ 9:00AM till 2:00AM and on Sundays at 2:00PM till 2:00AM. We want to personally thank the owner Gel (Gladys Lalaine “Gel” Marcial) for her great accommodation and her staff as well for their very warm and kind service.
