Jollibee’s 35th Anniversary Travel Exhibit “Buhay Pamilya” Goes to Davao

In celebration of its 35th anniversary, Jollibee shared over three decades’ worth of family togetherness and milestone moments through a traveling exhibit titled “Buhay Pamilya” with the Davaoeños in Abreeza Mall last June 6.

“Buhay Pamilya” relives Jollibee’s success story – from its humble beginnings as an ice cream parlor in Cubao to becoming what is now known as the family’s second home for memorable bonding moments. The exhibit, which is specially dedicated to Filipino families, had many interesting and exciting things in store for members of all ages.

Aside from depicting Jollibee’s inspiring story, it also featured the many reasons why Jollibee continues to touch millions of lives, here and abroad, such as its famed products, milestone and international stores, and growing family of mascots and celebrity endorsers. Also included were stories of how Jollibee gives back through its advocacy programs.

Internet sensation and proud Davaoeño Bogart the Explorer visited and took a tour of the exhibit during the launch in his hometown. “The year I was born, 1985, was the year Jollibee became the number one fast-food chain in the Philippines,” he said. “When I was young, whenever I got high grades in school, I would ask my parents for a Jollibee treat. I always get the two-piece Chickenjoy with extra rice, sundae, and a large drink.”

“As a kid, I would always request for Jollibee Spaghetti whenever I get sick. It never failed to make me feel better,” shared YouTube sensation Bogart the Explorer.

Grilled Pork Chops & Pork Belly

A few days ago, my hubby and I saw that one of our favorite cafe restaurants at The Peak in Gaisano Mall named Rego’s that had this so-called ‘back to school promo’ with a buy one, take one deal on their pasta and rice meal dishes.

Grilled Pork Chops & Pork Belly

We tried this one and I decided to go for their grilled pork chops while hubby had their pork belly.

Grilled Pork Chops & Pork Belly

That’s on a buy one, take one promo for P135 then paying additional P30 for the iced tea. We paid a total of P160. I met someone from school there who was dining with her friends. We met her hubby hubby at the hardware before that and he was looking for cam action edge clamps that are of standard size as to width, height and base length. She was with her friends who are also parents in the same school that our kids go to. They also availed of the back to school promo I suppose. It was a good deal for us because we wee able to save half of what we would have paid for these on any other day.

We will be back to try the pasta dishes next time.

Colorful

under About,Info

This colorful Filipino dessert made me think once again that I wanted to change the theme of this blog to something as or more colorful than this fave dish which some may call as root crops and fruit stew. This dish in the photo though were more of the colorful tapioca pearls as some people would call it and less of the root crops and fruits. Nevertheless it was a filling dessert for my hungry tummy then and just enjoyed eating this colorful snack I had one afternoon. Read more on Colorful »»»
